Original hand stamped block print of a Maple Leaf by Nikki Degn. Oil based block print ink on archival paper. Frame opening is 6x6 inches. Overall frame size measuring 9.2 inches wide by 9.2 inches tall, 0.75 inches deep. This is a vintage wood frame from around the 80's or earlier. Love this Adirondack style rare frame! Lightweight but solid construction.
The block print begins with my drawings, then I hand carve the drawing into a block print, which is then used to create this art on paper. Each block print is different, with different markings and stray marks on the paper due to the hand printing of each. Fall Maple Leaf block print was part of my drawings of New England.
